The Houstonians Futbol Club - (Houstonians) is unlike any other youth sports organization in the United States. Our mission is to develop and mentor the young leaders from Houston's urban community and help provide them a path to college. The success of our organization is measured in college scholarships and college enrollment, where the last three graduating classes have had 100% matriculation to a higher education institution!

Houstonian teams are made up, predominantly, of inner-city Hispanic youth, but also include players from all neighborhoods of the City. It is the diversity of our teams that give us strength and produces well-rounded athletes who can succeed in life. The lessons our participants learn through our Club’s efforts are good sportsmanship, self-respect, good work ethic, the importance of education, and the value of diversity.

Originally founded in 1996, the Houstonians was the first inner-city soccer program funded by a local municipality—the City of Houston. In 2002, the City transferred control of the organization to community leaders and the Club now operates organized as a nonprofit corporation.

Organized as a nonprofit corporation, we rely on private and corporate sponsors to fund our program and ask that you consider making a contribution to our organization. Donations are tax-deductible according to the IRS donation rules. The Houstonians Futbol Club is a nonprofit organization, federal tax exempt status applied for under IRS Code 501(c)(3).

	UNDER PRIVILEDGED PLAYER SCHOLARSHIP - $1,000 / player 13 yrs. up OR $500 / player 12 yrs. below Affords the privilege for a needy player to play one full season - FEE FREE!
