It is the goal of the Houstonians Futbol Club provide a positive, competitive youth soccer experience for player, parent and coach. We emphasize long-term player development of physical, emotional and social skills. While winning is a priority, winning will not be placed above good sportsmanship, player development, or what is best for the team. It is our goal to create an environment that will benefit the individual as well as the team. We believe a positive team experience will promote a youth’s self-confidence and self-esteem beyond the soccer field.

 

We expect all parties to maintain a positive attitude and uphold the ideals of fair play and sporting behavior. This is the essence of our goals and objectives and thus, adherence to it is of primary importance.

Multiple Child Discount Policy
Families with three (3) children rostered on HFC teams will receive a discount of 50% on their club dues for the third child; a fourth child rostered on a HFC team will receive a 75% discount on that child’s club dues.

 

Scholarships
Scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Club. Applications are reviewed solely by Club administrators and the information offered is held in the strictest confidence. It is the goal of this club to offer training to qualified athletes, regardless of financial constraints. Assistance is given for Club Dues based on applicant eligibility.

 

Late Payments Policy. NO PLAYER WILL BE PUT ON A ROSTER UNTIL REGISTRATION FEES HAVE BEEN PAID.


Registration Fees and Club Dues must be paid on the date outlined on the table above. Players who are overdue will be suspended from the team effective immediately from the 5th of month and will not be permitted to train or play until arrangements are made to bring the account up to date. This process will be in place each month from July to October until each player has paid all their fees.


Refunds
The registration fee represents a partial payment for the administrative costs of the club for the soccer year (the remaining administrative costs are collected in the payments collected in the fee schedule). Administrative fees are required in order to ensure the orderly operation of the Club and to maintain the Club’s offices, communications, administrative support, etc. Therefore, refunds of administrative fees will not be granted to those who have paid and then leave for another club or decide to quit. In general, all applicable administrative fees and club fees will be deducted prior to refunding any money to any player choosing to leave the club for any reason during the year.
