In an effort to have our players play at the highest level of competition, we have agreed to become the Houston Dynamo main Academy feeder. As our first activity together, the Houston Dynamo will conduct a private tryout at our facility (Memorial Park). Tryouts will be open to only HFC players. This tryout is free of charge and intends to identify the finest players within our club. |

Elite Youth Soccer of Houston......
In 1996, the Houston Parks and
Recreation Department created a program that would provide an
opportunity to all Houston area youth to compete in Soccer programs at
the highest level of competition regardless of economic barriers. This
program was established under the name of Houstonians Futbol Club
(Houstonians FC, elite youth soccer of Houston). City of Houston
officials, program sponsors, and volunteers recognized the need for a
successful competitive youth soccer program to serve as an obtainable
goal for many of the children that participate in the City's
recreational youth soccer program, the Houston Metropolitan Area Youth
Soccer League.
Houstonians FC has enabled its participants to gain important exposure to college recruiters and many of these players have earned college scholarships. Numerous players have also been recruited for US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) teams. Therefore, Houstonians F.C. has had a tremendous impact in the community and in improving the performance of the national and regional teams.
